Western Montana Growers Cooperative is a farmer-owned wholesale marketing and delivery cooperative based in Missoula. How wholesale ordering works
WMGC's current public process has four steps:
1. Member farms grow and produce the food. The available mix includes fresh and frozen produce, eggs, meat, dairy, seeds, and legumes.
2. The sales team posts food scheduled for harvest. The public page says this generally happens early every Monday and Thursday so growers have time to harvest and clean produce.
3. Refrigerated trucks bring produce to the Missoula warehouse. The warehouse team packs the orders made that morning and prepares the next shipment.
4. WMGC or a partner carrier delivers the order. The public process page states that delivery occurs within 24 to 48 hours. Contact sales to confirm timing for your account and route.
